How do you dig in the Grand Underground?
You get access to the Grand Underground after you defeat Jupiter in the Galactic tower in Eterna. After you defeat her, go to the house right beside the Pokémon Center. There will be an old man that will ask you to help him on a journey and will give you an explorer kit. The explorer kit will only work when you are not in a building.

How can you create a Secret Base in the Grand Underground?
After you enter the Grand Underground, you can mine for shards and spheres. Once you mine at least one item, you can go back to the old man and he will give you the digger drill. This will allow you to dig up a secret base which you can decorate with some glorious statues.
Which Pokémon can you find in the Grand Underground?
The Pokemon you can find in the Underground may differ from the version. Pokemon that can’t be found in one but can be in another of the same set are known as version exclusives. The ones that can only be obtained in Brilliant Diamond are elekid, electabuzz, gligar, murkrow, cranidos, scythe, silcoon, beautifly, stunky, and skuntank.
The ones you can only acquire in Shining Pearl are cascoon, dustox, glameow, purugly, magby, magmar, misdreavus, mismagius, shieldon, teddiursa, ursaring, and pinsir. These were the Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Sparkling Pearl exclusives.

There are a lot more than just these. But the one that should be mentioned is Munchlax. Munchlax used to only have a 1% encounter rate on 4 random spawning honey trees.
The best Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Exclusives are Rampardos and Honchkrow, which means that the brilliant diamond has a better variety of pokémon. The reason we chose Rampardos and Honchkrow is that both of them are pretty strong. Ramapardos has the 5th highest attack stats in the game. Honchkrow is so bulky that it will only die if you use a brave bird two times and it hits with a super effective move two times.
But it is unnecessary to buy just one, you can also buy the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Double pack. The Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl double pack will cost you a few dollars less, so it is more profitable compared to buying the two games one by one.
